Minister Dien emphasized that Vietnam attaches great importance to the comprehensive strategic partnership with the US and is committed to promoting economic ties in a balanced, stable, sustainable, and effective manner.

He said Vietnam is ready to address US concerns and work with the US to find mutually beneficial solutions in the principle of harmonized interests and shared risks.

Greer said he is confident that the two sides will soon reach suitable solutions to advance a stable and mutually beneficial economic and trade relationship.

The two officials agreed to maintain communication between negotiating teams to accelerate progress.
