Vietnam welcomes 6.7 million foreign tourists in first 5 months

(VOVWORLD) - More than 1.1 million tourists visited Vietnam in May bringing the total foreign arrivals to the country so far this year to 6.7 million, 26% more than in 2017.

According to the General Statistics Office, tourists from the rest of Asia increased 33% and from Europe 12%. Major tourist destinations in Vietnam saw a record number of visitors in the first five months of the year.
