Total trade in the first nine months hit more than 680 billion USD. Of the 32 items with export turnover of over 1 billion USD each, seven topped 10 billion USD. The main export markets were the US, China, the EU, ASEAN, and Japan.
Leading the way were electronics, computers and components; phones and components; machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts; and consumer goods.
The outlook for the final months of 2025 is positive, as Vietnamese enterprises seize opportunities from free trade agreements and a shift of orders from other countries in the region, according to the Ministry.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, business confidence continues, with 32.3% of businesses expecting more export orders. Exports are likely to continue to be the main driver of Vietnam's economic growth this year.
