Vietnamese citizens repatriated from Japan, Macau

(VOVWORLD) -More than 210 Vietnamese citizens came back home from Japan on a repatriation flight operated by VietJet Air on Sunday.

The passengers included pregnant women, the elderly, children aged under 18, people with fatal diseases and others in extremely disadvantaged circumstances. Upon arrival at Can Tho international airport in the Mekong Delta city of the same name, all the passengers and crew members received medical check-ups and were sent to quarantine in line with regulations.

Meanwhile, nearly 400 Vietnamese citizens were brought home from Macau (China) aboard a flight on Saturday as a result of the collaboration between Vietnamese authorities and the host nation. The passengers onboard included children under 2, pregnant women, the ill and workers with expired contracts.  All passengers and crew members received medical check-ups and were sent to quarantine in line with regulations upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi.
