12-year-old Nguyen Vu Thu Giang, who is celebrating her first Tet in Russia, participated in the Chung cake making event held by the Vietnamese Embassy, said this is her first Tet abroad but the atmosphere is warm and quite similar to Vietnam.

“My aunts and uncles have instructed me to make the cake. In my hometown, people also wrap Chung cakes like this,” said Giang.

The Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Russia plan to organize a Tet celebration on Thursday.
