Vietnam’s airlines adjust flight paths to Northeast Asia

(VOVWORLD) -A representative of Vietjet Air said it will reroute flights to Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan (China) from Thursday to Sunday as instructed by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam. The adjustment will affect 82 flights.

The national flag carrier (Vietnam Airlines) on Thursday rerouted its services between Vietnam and Northeast Asia, including Japan, South Korea and Taiwan (China), and the US to avoid the airspace near Taiwan where China conducts military drills.

Vietnam Airlines will temporarily maintain the adjusted flight route until Sunday and its 36 flights will be affected.
