Vietnam’s electronics market attracts South Korean investors

(VOVworld) - A representative from the South Korean Electronics Enterprises Association says that Korean businesses are inclined to move their factories in China to Vietnam which is now perceived as having a more favorable growth environment. Jang Seok Jun, Chief of the Group of Broadcasting Enterprises made the statement at an event in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday to create trading partnership among Vietnamese and Korean investors. Le Ngoc Son, President of the Vietnamese Electronics Enterprises Association, says the domestic industry is getting a great growth opportunity from Japan and Korea that Vietnam should make full use of. Mr. Son added that Vietnamese companies will expand their production from consumer products to equipment for industries and the health sector.
