Vietnam's inflation to increase in 2019

(VOVWORLD) - Delegates to a workshop on pricing forecast for this year held by the Academy of Finance warned that Vietnam's inflation is likely to increase this year .

They called for flexible monetary and fiscal policies to keep inflation rate below the National Assembly’s target of 4%. Economist Le Quoc Phuong of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Information Center: “We need to continue inflation control and macro economic stabilization policies. Well coordinated efforts in service pricing and stabilization of supplies during holidays will help us achieve 4% inflation rate target.”
