Earlier in the day, the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security’s rescue team arrived at a collapsed building in Zabu Thiri township, where they located two more victims and safely evacuated them.
Five days after the devastating earthquake, tens of thousands of people in Myanmar’s capital remain homeless and struggling without electricity, water, and essential supplies. In addition to search and rescue operations, the Vietnamese members have been assisting displaced residents in temporary shelters, providing medical care, and distributing medicine to those in need.
