Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day celebrated

(VOVworld) – The Journalists Associations of Ho Chi Minh city and the southern provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai jointly held an art exchange on Tuesday to acknowledge the contributions made by journalists to Vietnam’s sustainable economic growth and defense. The event is part of activities underway inside and outside Vietnam to celebrate the 88th anniversary of the Revolutionary Press Day on June 21st. The Journalists Associations of other cities and provinces like Thua Thien Hue, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, and Binh Duong took this occasion to organize reunions for journalists.

The same day, the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia also hosted a get-together. Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Xuan Son at the event praised Russia-based correspondents of Vietnam’s press agencies for comprehensively and promptly reporting on happenings in Russia, local Vietnamese, and the embassy.

Their efforts have given audiences a better understanding of Russia and Vietnamese community there and Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership, contributing to a more fruitful relationship. At the event, journalist Diep Anh, Head of VOV bureau in Russia, on behalf of her colleagues, extended thanks to the Embassy and hoped for its continued support.
