(VOVworld) -  All health clinics must operate waste water treatment up to national environmental standards by the end of this year if they cause serious environmental pollution. This is the aim of the master plan on medical waste treatment  between 2011 and 2015 with vision to 2020. The Ministry of Health and the World Bank held a seminar in Ho Chi Minh city yesterday to discuss the initiative. It also targets that all health institutions from local to central levels will carry their medical waste treatment in comply with national technical standards on environment by 2020.
