Vietnam’s Spring Festival 2026 opens in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s Spring Festival 2026 opened Friday evening in Hanoi, offering a vivid showcase of traditional culture and contemporary creativity ahead of the Lunar New Year.

Hosted by the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the festival marks the success of the 14th National Party Congress, the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the arrival of Tet or Lunar New Year.

The event features themed exhibitions such as “Spring with the Party,” a recreated Vietnamese Tet space, and large-scale light installations honoring President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnamese folk legends.

Visitors can also explore traditional cuisine, tea culture, folk costumes, and hands-on activities including making banh chung (traditional square sticky rice cakes), calligraphy, pottery, and folk crafts.
The festival runs through February 9 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts in central Hanoi.
