A certificate was given to the sculpture’s owner Son Kieu Phong in Tra Vinh province on Sunday.

This unique piece, carved from an 8.7-ton apitong tree stump, celebrates Vietnam's cultural history and natural beauty. “Nhat Long Giang" is not only an exceptional wooden sculpture masterpiece that celebrates artistic excellence, but it also intricately encapsulates the historical, cultural, and natural essence of the nation, said the World Record Union (Worldkings).

Moreover, the artwork beautifully illustrates Mr. Phong's profound affection and bond with his homeland and the rich tapestry of Vietnamese cultural heritage.

Measuring 6 meters in length and 4 meters in height, the sculpture is intricately carved on both sides. The front is a tableau of profound symbolism, with the twelve zodiac animals gracefully encircling twelve doves, representing peace, prosperity, and freedom.

At the core of the design, a magnificent timepiece features a detailed depiction of Vietnam's map adorned with prominent landmarks. Encircling the central motif of the clock are twelve majestic Lac birds, symbolizing the cultural legacy of Vietnam.

The clock's hands, immovably positioned at 11:30, serve as a poignant tribute to the unification of the nation at 11:30 on April 30, 1975.

The rear of the sculpture depicts 70 animal species, underscoring the importance of biodiversity and the preservation of endangered animals.
