VOV, Orpheus sign cooperation agreement
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between VOV President Do Tien Sy and Ms. Irina Geresimova, General Director and Arts Director of the Russian Federal State Budgetary Institution for the organization, production, and broadcasting music, cultural, and educational programs under the Russian State Musical TV and Radio Center, Orpheus Radio.

Being signed at the Kremlin as part of Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam’s official visit to Russia, the agreement aims to strengthen bilateral cultural ties through music, particularly making Russian music and culture more popular among Vietnamese audiences. Under the agreement, classical, folk, and contemporary music programs produced by Orpheus will be broadcast on VOV’s radio channels and digital platforms.

The two sides also agreed on a mechanism for sharing copyrights and content through a digital system, ensuring full compliance with legal regulations and intellectual property rights.

Earlier, the Voice of Vietnam signed a similar agreement with the National Radio of Belarus during the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation’s visit which reflects VOV’s strategy to expand international cooperation with traditional partners in the region, including Russia and Eastern Europe.
