X’mas-New Year Festival brings vibrant year-end ambience to Da Nang
(VOVWORLD) - The Da Nang X’mas-New Year Festival 2025, the first of its kind, opened on Friday to further diversify the central city’s tourism products and enhance the experience of locals and visitors during the year-end holiday season.

The festival, which will run for 20 days until January 2, features unique and innovative cultural, tourism, and recreational activities including a Christmas and New Year market and nightly art performances.
A Santa parade will be held on Christmas Eve with 3,000 gifts for children, residents and visitors.
Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the municipal Tourism Department, said that during 20 days, the festival will bring a vibrant atmosphere to Da Nang city at the end of the year.
“We hope it’ll become an annual event to entertain Da Nang people and domestic and international tourists and to prove that Da Nang is an incredibly attractive destination,” said An.
On the same day, an art exhibition “Journey of the coastal city” was launched at APEC Park, displaying 150 works by local artists which recreate Da Nang through different periods.
