(VOVWORLD) - YouTube on Tuesday announced a slew of AI-powered tools aimed at content creators.

Among the new features is Google DeepMind’s Veo 3 Fast generative AI model for video, which is now integrated into YouTube.
Among the new tools, the most notable is Veo – an AI-powered video generation technology developed by Google DeepMind – which is now being integrated directly into YouTube to compete with other video sharing platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reel.
With Veo, creators can easily generate video backgrounds for YouTube Shorts. The new tools will also let creators combine a photo with a video, essentially making it seem as though the person pictured is the one in action.
