(VOVworld) - The capital city’s Catholic Congress will be held later this month in Hanoi.

The event aims to promote patriotism emulation movements among Catholics in the capital and encourage them to participate in new rural development and paying debts of gratitude campaigns. Pham Huy Thong, Vice Chairman of Hanoi’s Committee for Catholic Solidarity said: "The 6^th Congress will continue to reinforce the organization of Hanoi’s Committee for Catholic Solidarity and enhance the achievements made in the previous term. We will develop our human resources both in terms of religion and daily life. We will also hold exchanges with our partners to learn more experience from them".
