Four important laws officially take effect from August 01

(VOVWORLD) - As of August 1, the laws amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Land Law, Housing Law, Real Estate Business Law, and Credit Institutions Law took effect.

These laws, which were passed by the 15th National Assembly, came into force five months earlier than the previous plan for January next year.

Promulgated after four National Assembly sessions, the revised Land Law is of special importance to national politics, socio-economic development, national defense, security, and environmental protection.

Do Duc Duy, Secretary of the Yen Bai provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly deputy delegation of Yen Bai province, said, “The revised Land Law removes bottlenecks of the current law, which will significantly promote socio-economic development and facilitate people’s production. We acknowledge the Government's efforts and determination to promptly fine-tune documents guiding the implementation of the revised Land Law.”

The revised Housing Law, Real Estate Business Law, and Credit Institutions Law will also clear bottlenecks of the economy and address social needs.

Nguyen Thi Thuy, a National Assembly deputy of Bac Kan province, said, “The enforcement of the law will create conditions and legal tools for government agencies to address current difficulties.”

Pham Trong Nghia, a deputy of Lang Son province, said, “The move demonstrates the Government's great efforts and determination. This is a bright spot in the institution building in 2024. The enforcement of the laws will boost the national socio-economy and improve the interests of people and businesses.”
