(VOVworld)-On the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, July 27, local authorities in the central highlands province of Kon Tum held a ceremony to pay tribute to martyrs in the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Sa Thay district.  VOV’s Vice Director Tran Minh Hung attended the event. After the ceremony, the delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Stele in memory of 77 Hanoian soldiers who died in 1968 during the northern central highlands battle. The stele is made of granite, 2.8 m high and 1.85 m wide. The Radio and TV College of the Radio Voice of Vietnam contributed one third of the 100 million dong project. On the occasion, VOV presented a charity house for social beneficiaries in Sa Thay district.
