(VOVworld) - About 60 km from Hanoi, Thu Sy commune in Hung Yen province is famous for its local traditional job of weaving fish pots. This is a major source of income of the locals during their free time. During the harvest season, they make fish-pots at night. Photographer Nguyen Anh Tuan takes you there….


Weaving fish-pots requires skills and a meticulous manner, but here, young and old alike, can make this product from bamboo.

It takes approximately up to 20 minutes to weave a product which can be sold at around half a dollar.
