The market is held on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th and 30th day of every lunar month. Most of birds are brought from northern provinces – Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, and Cao Bang – where traders and bird lovers come to buy and sell birds, cages, and bird food.
