From February 8 to 14, Da Nang saw an average of 111 inbound flights per day, of which 58 were domestic and 53 were international flights.
The city also welcomed three cruise ships to Tien Sa port, bringing 3,400 visitors to major tourist attractions. Individual visitors accounted for 60% to 70% of total arrivals.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism, the city's goal is to welcome 8.43 millions of both international and domestic visitors this year.
Da Nang has organized many events and festivals during the New Year, including a new check-in point near the Dragon Bridge, fire-and-water demonstration at the Dragon Bridge, and Han River Swing Bridge.
