These days Y Ty commune in Lao Cai province is wrapped amid a cloak comprising of hundreds of peach trees. The locality appears as if it is waking up from hibernation, with the leafless branches of trees changing magically.
Located at an altitude of over 2,000 metres above sea level, Y Ty enjoys a cool climate throughout the year, although it can be harsh in winter when the temperature sometimes drops below zero degrees Celsius.
