On February 26, the Government issued a Resolution on COVID-19 vaccine purchases and use, which identifies nine priority groups in the COVID-19 vaccination plan.
In addition to importing vaccines, Vietnam is researching and developing its own vaccines, which are expected to be in use as early as next year. Two Vietnamese vaccines are currently in human trials.
