Among the completed projects are 9 expressway projects spanning 475km, which brings the total of expressways in operation nationwide to 1,900 km.
At the meeting, attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Minister Thang said transportation shows steady growth, reduced administrative procedures and fees, and greater use of IT applications.
By the end of November, cargo output had increased 12.9% and passenger output 11.5% over last year. International cooperation also increased. The Ministry signed 10 international treaties and three international agreements on transportation.
