A ceremony to recognize the ancient tea trees takes place in Moc Chau on April 20, 2024.

The trees are between 100 and 200 years old with an average diameter of 25-40 cm and a height of 3-5 m. They will serve as the key source for the development of a Shan tuyet tea region in the locality.

Local administrators said they will develop a plan to make full use of the trees for tourism development.
