The international event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Under the theme "Intelligent Automation – A Strategic Technology for the Digital Era," VCCA 2026 will feature a scientific workshop, a business forum, the Automation Technology Exhibition (AT Expo), showcasing the latest automation technologies and products, and an OCOP (One Commune One Product) trade fair.
High on the agenda of the scientific workshop will be industrial robot control, mobile robotics, healthcare automation, agricultural automation and other emerging technologies.
The business forum will feature 25-30 presentations by domestic and international experts through seminars and panel discussions covering smart technologies, innovation across economic sectors, building a "Make in Vietnam" robotics and drone ecosystem, renewable energy, human resource development, and the green transition in Vietnam's Central and Central Highlands regions.
Since 2011, the Vietnam Automation Association has organized the International Conference and Exhibition on Control and Automation (VCCA) every two years in partnership with host institutions. Each edition carries a distinct theme and is held in a different city across Vietnam.
