In April alone, export value was estimated at around 6 billion USD. Asia remained the largest export market, accounting for 44% of total turnover, followed by the Americas and Europe with shares of about 21% and 15%, respectively. China continued to be the largest importer, making up 21% of total exports, followed by the US (18%) and Japan (7%).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment reported that the total import turnover of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products in the first four months of 2026 was estimated at 17.65 billion USD, an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year. Of this total, the import value of agricultural products reached 11.51 billion USD.
