International passengers totaled 22.6 million, an increase of 18% year-on-year. Cargo throughput at the airports exceeded 762,000 tons during the five-month period, up 14%.
Vietnamese airlines carried more than 24 million passengers in the first five months, up 5%. Of them more than 8 million were international travelers. Cargo transport by Vietnamese airlines totaled 190,000 tons, a 2% increase.
