Since Vietnam and Armenia established diplomatic relations in 1992, their political relationship has grown, with exchanges of delegations at all levels. Economic and trade cooperation has improved thanks to the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union, of which Armenia is a member. Vietnam-Armenia trade totaled 342 million USD last year, up more than 500%.
