General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, presented the First-class Fatherland Protection Order to the Department in recognition of its outstanding achievements in training, combat readiness, military building, and strengthening national defense, contributing to the cause of national construction and protection.
General Nghia praised Department and the broader military communication sector for helping to build a politically strong Army, an absolutely loyal and reliable political and fighting force of the Party, State, and people.
He urged the Department to continue providing strategic advice to comprehensively renew ideological and cultural work within the Army, while proactively leading and engaging in the struggle on the ideological and theoretical fronts.
