They were a seminar on the role of Southeast Asian political parties in building the ASEAN community, and the ASEAN City Leaders Conference (ACLC).
The seminar brought together representatives from 10 political parties in the region. This is the first time a multilateral dialogue mechanism between Southeast Asian political parties has been organized as part of the ASEAN Future Forum. The initiative matches the 3 pillars of Vietnam's foreign policy: Party external relations, State diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy.
The ASEAN City Leaders Conference discussed solutions for smart urban development, digital transformation, green growth, and resilience to new challenges. This is the first time an initiative connecting ASEAN urban leaders has been organized during the ASEAN Future Forum.
As part of the Conference, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports organized an exhibition of traditional cuisine and performing arts at Hanoi Book Street from Sunday afternoon to Monday
