Speaking at the event, organized by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Dung praised the organization for strengthening trade and investment ties and expanding opportunities for cooperation between American businesses and international partners, including Vietnam.
As the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the US continues to grow, the ambassador said, the AACC has remained a trusted partner, helping Vietnamese businesses and products connect with US importers, distribution networks, retailers and trading partners.
The 17th AACC summit brought together representatives of businesses, government agencies, and community organizations. During the event, Ambassador Dung received the Excellence in Diplomacy Award, while his wife, Tran Thi Bich Van, received the Cultural Ambassador Award.
