Held in Ho Chi Minh City from Monday to Thursday, AEF 2026 attracted more than 1,500 delegates from 60 countries and territories. Ho Chi Minh City has identified three priorities: institutional reform, improving human resource quality, and expanding international cooperation to attract global resources, Mr. Duoc said.
The city also aims to attract strategic investment in high technology, research and development, education, and healthcare, while promoting public-private partnerships and strengthening links with international innovation networks.
“We look forward to promoting substantive cooperation, involving financial institutions, international investors, and major corporations in strategic economic development areas, from smart manufacturing and the green transition to the digital economy in a megacity,” said Mr. Duoc.
