Doan Ngoc Tuyen, Vice Chairman of Bac Ha district’s People’s Committee, said: “We have worked hard to create a festival that will be a tourism trademark for Bac Ha district. We hope to promote ethnic cultures and attract Vietnamese and foreign tourists alike to Lao Cai province. We have well-prepared activities for the 10-day festival.”
Highlights of the Festival will include a horse race, a street carnival, a Picking Plums Festival, a bicycle tour, a rose and fine wine tasting event, an ancient vehicle show, and a fair highlighting Northwestern culture.
