The event will feature a tourism promotion space, culinary demonstrations, a photo exhibition, a seminar, performances of Don Ca Tai Tu (a traditional form of southern Vietnamese folk music), and street music shows.
“This year's Culture and Tourism Week will introduce the cultural values, folk arts, cuisine, and tourism products of the beautiful land of Can Tho," Nguyen Thi Kieu Duyen, Director of the Can Tho Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, said at the opening ceremony.
"It’s an opportunity for localities, investors, and tourism service providers to strengthen connections and develop new products to improve the service quality and competitiveness of the local tourism industry,” she added.
