ChatGPT suffers public meltdown for several hours

(VOVWORLD) -Many ChatGPT users reported problems when using the internet tool on Tuesday and Wednesday. In a forum on OpenAI’s website, ChatGPT developers and users said the tool was giving “unexpected” responses, offering non-existent words, and incomplete or meaningless sentences.

In reply, OpenAI company said it is investigating reports of inadequate responses from ChatGPT.

About 16 hours after receiving reports of the ChatGPT meltdown, OpenAI announced that the problem has apparently been solved and the tool had returned to normal operation.

OpenAI launched ChatGPT at the end of 2022. Most recently it released Sora, a tool that can create videos up to 1 minute long with content based on information requested by users.
