Speaking in a meeting to review the policy over the past 5 years in implementing the Party Politbureau Directive No 40, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, Cao Duc Phat, said the Directive has met people’s aspiration for rapid and sustainable poverty reduction. He added: “Policy credit helps facilitate and encourage poor households to strive out of poverty sustainably. Credit and vocational training were given to poor households to assist their business operation. This correct policy helps strengthen sustainable poverty reduction.”
