So far, more than 70 communes and wards across the province have launched campaigns encouraging residents to plant flowers and trees.
“Following administrative restructuring, Lam Dong is now three times larger, with greater potential and more opportunities for socio-economic and tourism development. We want this year’s flower festival to reflect that progress, which makes organizing it a much bigger undertaking than in previous editions,” Dinh Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, said.
The festival will feature performances celebrating flowers and music, exhibitions of flowers and ornamental plants, seminars on science, technology, and innovation, a vegetable and flower fair, and a tea, coffee and wine street.
