As part of the week-long festival theme "A Bridge from Asia to the World" is an Asian Film Competition. This year, there have been 13 submissions from 11 countries and territories, reflecting Asia's cultural diversity and contemporary trends.

Director, People's Artist Tran Luc is a member of the Asian Film Competition Jury. He said: "DANAFF has always been organized professionally, since its first edition. The films and jury members were all well-selected. The award-winning submissions are truly works of art. This year's edition is even more professional and refined in my opinion. In addition to the film screenings and evaluations, there will be workshops for art lovers, film producers, and screenwriters, led by international experts."

The festival will also feature DANAFF Industry Days, a networking platform connecting international partners with Vietnamese producers, distributors, and film industry professionals to expand cooperation, investment, and introduce Vietnamese films to the global market.

There will be three seminars on Vietnamese cinema after 40 years of "Doi Moi" (Renewal), impacts of AI, digital technology, and intellectual property protection in film-making, as well as successful models from the US film industry and lessons for Vietnam.
