Mr. Dam, who is head of the steering committee to fight respiratory disease caused by nCoV, said Vinh Phuc should maintain its determination and efforts to contain the epidemic.

He said the government will set up a working team in Vinh Phuc to offer professional and technical support.

As of Monday, Vinh Phuc had a total of 10 confirmed cases and 54 suspected cases.
