Making its debut at DIFF, France’s Lux Factory POK 2.0 presented a cinematic display titled “Heritage – Da Nang Shining,” showcasing the history, culture and development of the riverside city.
Rather than focusing solely on technical effects, the French team created a multi-layered “film of light,” illustrating cultural exchanges in different periods of Da Nang’s history. The seamless combination of synchronized fireworks and carefully selected music transformed the Han River into a spectacular stage where past and present converged.
Vietnam’s Z121 Vina Pyrotech, the festival’s reigning runner-up, delivered a performance rich in national identity while demonstrating its technical expertise.
A highlight of the Vietnamese display was the use of advanced pyrotechnic technology to recreate the image of the palm tree—a symbol closely associated with Phu Tho province, the ancestral land of the Vietnamese people.
The team also selected music that conveyed messages of solidarity, peace and patriotism.
Both performances received enthusiastic applause from residents and visitors alike.
