The bill focuses on: assessment of disaster risks and civil defense incidents; state management assignment and function decentralization for disaster prevention, response, and recovery; regulations to protect people against disasters and other incidents and support victims; re-organization of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee; application of big data in preventing, responding to, and overcoming consequences of disasters and other incidents; and state of emergency regulations for civil defense.
The Committee also gave opinions on revisions to the Law on Petroleum and the Law on Domestic Violence.
