The talks are of critical importance to Ukraine and are considered a strategic priority amid renewed pressure from President Donald Trump to end to the conflict with Russia. In Moldova, the negotiations represent strong support for pro-Western president Maia Sandu, who says Moldova will pursue full EU membership by 2030.
