The Government has proposed 20 items for the National Assembly’s consideration and approval, including 17 draft laws and resolutions, as well as three other important matters, said the top legislator.
Four draft laws will be submitted for comments: the revised Land Law; a bill merging the State Budget Law and the revised Public Investment Law; the revised Criminal Procedure Code; and the revised Penal Code, he said. “These legislative proposals will be considered over two sessions rather than under an expedited procedure.”
The year-end National Assembly session, scheduled to open in October, is expected to approve 30 draft laws and two resolutions.
