Chairing the first meeting of the Central Steering Committee for Foreign Affairs and International Integration in Hanoi on Thursday, the Vietnamese top leader said the rapidly changing international environment requires more effective strategic forecasting, timely policy advice, and proactive diplomacy to help realize Vietnam's development goals for 2030 and its vision for 2045.

He asked relevant agencies to promptly complete the legal framework for the Steering Committee, comprehensively review the implementation of Vietnam's international commitments and major treaties, conduct a one-year review of Resolution No. 59 on international integration in the new context, and begin preparations for a new comprehensive foreign affairs strategy at a higher level.

The Party and State leader urged the Steering Committee to begin work immediately and serve as a unified strategic mechanism for coordinating and supervising foreign affairs and international integration in support of national development, national defense, and Vietnam's position in the new era.
