He stressed that disbursement in these areas has remained well below the national average, even though they have been identified as key new drivers of growth.

Disbursement for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation must be regarded as a key and urgent political task for 2026 and the years ahead, said Deputy PM Dung.

“Politburo Resolution 57 clearly states that 3% of total state budget expenditure should be allocated to science and technology. We must ensure 100% disbursement in 2026,” he noted.
