The Cu Chi cave system in Ho Chi Minh City is a vast network of subterranean tunnels that stretches towards the Cambodian frontier. The tunnels served as a way of communication among settlements during the war. Furthermore, the tunnels were easily reachable from HCM City, with a one-and-a-half-hour trip.
