The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum remains a major draw for both locals and foreign visitors. On Thursday alone, more than 20,000 people, including over 4,000 international visitors, came to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh.

The pedestrian zone around Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounding streets has been open since 7 a.m. Thursday and will continue operating until midnight on Sunday. The area offers street performances, community events and traditional folk games.

Heritage sites such as the Temple of Literature and the Thang Long Imperial Citadel are drawing visitors with themed exhibitions, including “Echoes of a New Era” and “Allusive Panorama - Sky, Mountains and Water”.

The Hanoi Museum, the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology are expanding interactive features and technology use during the holiday.

Meanwhile, Duong Lam Ancient Village, Bat Trang Pottery Village and tourist areas in Ba Vi and Soc Son are offering rural, outdoor and eco-tourism experiences.
