The municipal People's Committee told a press conference on Thursday that Hanoi will introduce its investment environment, special and outstanding mechanisms and policies, and the socio-economic development orientation in the new period, while strengthening connections with the business community and domestic and foreign investors.
According to the municipal Department of Planning and Architecture, the Hanoi Capital City Master Plan with a 100-year vision adopts the perspective of building a capital city that is “cultural-civilized-modern-happy,” with people at the center. Its spatial development structure will be based on a “multi-layered, multi-tiered, multi-polar, multi-centered” model, with the Red River as the main ecological and cultural landscape axis, comprising 9 development poles, 9 major centers, and 9 driving axes.
Tran Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, said, “The plan will be announced together with a list of priority investment projects to be implemented. The city will immediately activate key mega-projects of the urban railway system, transportation infrastructure, the Red River urban landscape axis, the Olympic sports complex, and multi-purpose urban areas with a mix of commercial and social housing. Planning closely linked with strategic investment flows is a fundamental solution to ensure that social infrastructure planning always stays one step ahead.”
At the press conference, Hanoi launched a 360-degree data management and digitization system for investment attraction projects.
